1) Start Paying More Attention To Your Thoughts
Once you become more mindful of your everyday thought processes, you will begin to see what kind of things you are attracting (with or without the desire to attract them). Having a clearer perspective on your thoughts helps you to figure out which ones you want to reinforce using the Law of Attraction and which ones you want to excise from your life.
2) Define What You Want
Next, give some serious consideration to what you really want from your life. It might help you to make a list of several things (such as a flourishing career, a passionate romance or a happy family). When you’re just learning to use the Law of Attraction, it is simpler to pick one particular goal and devote all of your energy to manifesting that goal. If, for example, you choose a career goal, move on to figuring out the finer details. What sort of job would make you the happiest, why is it so important to you, and what would it be like to spend an average day in your ideal career? Having a clear image of your goal is vital when trying to harness the Law of Attraction.
3) Visualize Your Goal
One of the most important things that you can do is learn effective techniques for visualizing. Most people find that doing deep breathing exercises in a quiet room creates the right mindset for visualization, but you can find your own way to enter a meditative state.
The key is to build up a vivid image of achieving your goal, including all of the relevant sights, sounds and sensations. Let go of any doubts, insecurities or anxieties about the goal, and focus only on your desire for the outcome. Try to practice this visualization process on a daily basis, ideally at the same time each day.
4) Start Acting As Though The Outcome Is Inevitable
Each morning when you wake up, tell yourself that you will achieve your goal. You might want to say a few sentences out loud–these are called affirmations, and they can help you use the Law of Attraction to your advantage. Some people even find it useful to start writing short descriptions in the present tense.
Write as though you have already attained that great career or found that wonderful romance, and express your gratitude. A few sentences will be enough to reinforce your intentions.
5) Trust That The Law Of Attraction Works
When you first start working with the Law of Attraction, you might feel doubtful of its efficacy. However, there are vast amounts of anecdotal evidence supporting the usefulness of the law, and there are studies showing the impressive power of positive thinking. Many top athletes swear by creative visualization exercises, for example.
Letting go of doubts and concerns about the Law of Attraction is an essential step if you want to avoid blocking the manifestation of your intentions.
6) Don’t Forget To Work Hard
While the Law of Attraction is undeniably capable of helping you to get everything you want and need, it shouldn’t be viewed as a substitute for hard work. Continually taking steps to achieve your goal reinforces the message that you want to attract this specific change.
You will be most likely to use the Law of Attraction to its full potential if you combine visualization with consistent, sincere effort to achieve your goal.
